Prattville Creative Arts Center Hosts Free Holiday Art Events for Children

The Holiday Season is upon us...the Prattauga Art Guild and the Prattville Cultural Arts and Special Events office are hosting two free Holiday Art Events for children in Prattville and the surrounding communities. The Creative Arts Center on Chestnut Street behind City Hall will be alive with the excitement of children creating works of art to give as gifts or to cherish forever.

The first workshop will be held on Saturday, November 17, with artists Aimee Harbin and Barbara Simpson, both teachers at the Prattville creative Arts Center. There will be two sessions, 10am-11:30am and 1pm-2:30pm. The workshop is free and all supplies are furnished, but space is limited and preregistration is required.

Children will have another opportunity to be creative on Saturday, December 8, with artist Kellie Newsome, also an art teacher with the Prattville Creative Arts Center. There will be two sessions, 10am-11:30am and 1pm-2:30pm. The workshop is free and all supplies are furnished. Space is limited and preregistration is required.

To register for the free children's holiday events, please contact the Special Events office at 334/358-0297.
