This press conference will serve to educate citizens about the coming event and reinforce the importance of prayer for our youth, the future of our cities, state and nation.

"This world of ours is full of trials and tribulations. Through the power of prayer, we weather each storm and enjoy the sunlight, again," said Mayor Bill Gillespie. "The importance of prayer is a family value that we can and should pass down to our children. It will steady them and carry them through the blessings and challenges in their lives."
