The Way off Broadway Theatre, located in downtown Prattville, is proud to announce the opening of their latest play, "Patio/Porch. The play, directed by William Harper, opens July 26th and runs weekends through August 12th.
Mix together four strong-willed Southern women, a dozen-burnt wienies, homicidal elephants, and so much heat that you can fry an egg on the sidewalk and you get Jack Heifner's Patio/Porch. Prattville's Way Off Broadway Theatre presents these two Southern one act plays in a double bill. Pearl, Jewel, Lucy and Dot are cut from the same cloth as the women in "Fried Green Tomatoes," and "Steel Magnolias" and they will win your hearts and your funny bones. You might even forget the heat!
Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Arts Center, or by phone at 334.358.0297. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. To learn more about "Patio/Porch", visit www.prattvilleal.gov.
Prattville's Way off Broadway Theatre was formed in 2002 as a part of the Prattville Creative and Performing Arts Council, sponsored by the City of Prattville.
