PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, JANUARY 4, 2005
6:00 P.M.

The Prattville City Council met in Public Hearing on January 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Roll was called and all were recorded as being present.

AGENDA ITEM

1. RESOLUTION: REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED OFF OF MCQUEEN SMITH ROAD AND NORTH OF SUMMERCHASE APARTMENTS FROM FAR TO R-5.

No one appeared in favor of or opposition to the rezoning request.

City Planner, Joel Duke clarified for the Council that R-5 is single family residential and that this request is consistent with construction located at the adjoining property known as Brookstone. Construction plans show one entrance to the subdivision and lots to be 55 ́- 60 ́ wide. This indicates that the average home will be in the $125,000 - $150,000 range. Mr. Duke further stated that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning request at its October 21, 2004 meeting.

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Macready made the motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:15 p.m.
