PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2005
6:00 P.M.

The Prattville City Council met in Public Hearing on February 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Roll was called and Councilman Wood was recorded as being absent.

AGENDA ITEM

1. RESOLUTION: REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1124 EAST MAIN STREET FROM R-2, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO O-1, OFFICE DISTRICT.

Karen Jackson, owner of the property, appeared before the Council in favor of the rezoning. She stated that she is a lawyer, has had a practice in Montgomery and has a desire to relocate in Prattville.

No one appeared in opposition to the rezoning request.

City Planner, Joel Duke stated that the Prattville Planning Commission found that this request was consistent with other rezonings in the area and it approved of the proposed rezoning.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Macready made the motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:05 p.m.
