PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2005
6:00 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Roll was called and Councilmen Miller and Renegar were recorded as being absent.

AGENDA

1. RESOLUTION: TO DECLARE VARIOUS WEEDED LOTS TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING THEIR ABATEMENT PER §11-67-1 ET.SEQ., OF THE CODE OF ALABAMA, 1975, AS AMENDED.

No one appeared in favor of or in opposition to the Resolution.

City Planner Joel Duke advised members of the Council that all of the properties, with the exception of 106 LaSalle Court, had been cleaned up.

Mr. Duke thanked the City Council for their willingness to use this process in dealing with weeded lots. He further stated that it has proven to be very effective in clearing up these issues in a timely fashion.

Council President Argo stated that this Resolution would appear on the Council Agenda as item number 1 at 7:00 p.m.

ADJOURN: There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Macready made the motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:08 p.m.
