PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2006

CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Argo called the meeting to order. Roll was called and Councilman Miller was recorded as being absent.

AGENDA

1. ORDINANCE: TO REZONE PROPERTY FROM R-2/R-4 FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT THE END OF KORNEGAY DRIVE OFF OF COBBS FORD ROAD.

Mr. Joe Turner, 511 Mossy Oak Ridge, Prattville, AL 36066, appeared before the Council in favor of the rezoning request.

No one appeared in opposition to the rezoning.

City Planner Joel Duke reported that the Prattville Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning. He further stated that this property was previously owned by Aronov Realty and that this request is an amendment which adds 71 acres to Homeplace Farms.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Fank made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:10 p.m.
