PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
WORK SESSION MINUTES
MONDAY, JULY 2, 2007

The Prattville City Council held a work session on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the Police Squad Room at City Hall, 101 W. Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067.

The meeting was called to order by Council President Dean Argo. Councilmen Miller and Renegar were recorded as being absent. Councilman Miller arrived at 5:40 p.m. City Attorney David McDowell and Mayor Byard were recorded as being present as well as the following department heads: Finance Director Rod Morgan, City Planner Joel Duke, Fire Chief Stanley Gann, Police Chief Alfred Wadsworth, Fire Captain Dallis Johnson as well as Stephanie Southerland, Assistant to the City Clerk. There was no representation from the media.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss granting liquor license in the police jurisdiction, the land swap involving the Housing Authority, the proposed animal waste ordinance, and the possibility of strengthening the current smoking ordinance.

ADJOURN:

Councilman Gillespie made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
