 PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing session on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Argo called the meeting to order. Roll was called and Councilmen Wood and Renegar were recorded as being absent. AGENDA 1. RESOLUTION: TO GRANT A RETAIL LIQUOR LICENSE TO HYDE FAMILY CONCEPTS, INC., D/B/A BEEF O’BRADY’S. No one appeared in opposition to the request. 2. ORDINANCE: TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1101 OLD HIGHWAY 31 FROM R-2 TO B-2. Eddie Inman, 398 County Road 41, Prattville, AL 36067, appeared before the Council to urge support for his rezoning request. He plans to construct climate control storage units. City Planner Joel Duke stated that the owner owns a larger piece of property but is not requesting to rezone the entire lot. He further stated that the Planning Commission was in favor of the rezoning with the condition that no rezoning is sought in the future for the remaining property. No one appeared in opposition to the request. 3. RESOLUTION: TO DECLARE VARIOUS WEEDED LOTS TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND TO ORDER THEIR ABATEMENT PER TITLE 11, CHAPTER 67 OF THE CODE OF ALABAMA, 1975, AS AMENDED. No one appeared in favor of or opposition to the Resolution. City Planner Joel Duke reported that the properties were checked today and they have not been brought up to code. ADJOURN: There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Macready made a motion to adjourn and Councilman Fank seconded the motion. The meeting closed at 6:20 p.m. APPROVED:
