PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2007

CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Argo called the meeting to order. Roll was called and Councilman Fank was recorded as being absent.

AGENDA

1. RESOLUTION: TO GRANT A RETAIL TABLE WINE ON-PREMISE AND OFF PREMISE AND RETAIL BEER ON-PREMISE AND OFF-PREMISE LICENSE TO WILLIAM AND TAMMY WARD D/B/A THE CELLAR AND SUCH.

Tammy Ward, 1706 Twelve Oaks Lane, Prattville, AL 36066, appeared before the Council to inform them that her store is no longer a package store. She further stated that if she is granted this particular type of license it will allow her to have wine tasting events.

Councilman Wood questioned her about what percentage of her business is based on the food she sells in her deli. Ms. Ward stated that approximately 30% of her business is based on food sales.

2. RESOLUTION: TO GRANT A LOUNGE, CLASS II PACKAGE STORE LICENSE TO JOYCE J. BAKER D/B/A J.BAKER, INC.

No one appeared in favor of or in opposition to the request.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Macready made a motion and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:12 p.m.
