PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, JULY 1, 2008

CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Argo called the meeting to order. Roll was called and all were recorded as being present.

AGENDA

1. RESOLUTION: TODECLARE VARIOUS WEEDED LOTS TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING THEIR ABATEMENT PER TITLE 11, CHAPTER 67 OF THE CODE OF ALABAMA, 1975, AS AMENDED.

No one appeared in favor of or opposition to the Resolution.

City Planner Joel Duke reported to the Council on the properties that remain in violation of the code.

Mr. Richard Harris, owner of the property listed at 519 North Court Street, Prattville, Al 36067, appeared at the meeting late due to car trouble. His property has been brought up to code.

City Planner Joel Duke reported on the properties that remain in violation of the code.

3. RESOLUTION: TO GRANT A RESTAURANT RETAIL LIQUOR LICENSE FOR HILL’S FOOD SERVICE, LLC D/B/A COBBS FORD BAR AND GRILL.

Mark Hill, owner of the restaurant, appeared before Council to urge support of the Resolution. He stated that the restaurant will have a family friendly atmosphere and will be open Monday-Thursday from 11:00 -10:00 and Friday and Saturday from 11:00-11:00.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Macready made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:10 p.m.
