PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL SESSION MINUTES
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2008
9:00 A.M.

The Prattville City Council met in special session on Tuesday, September 2^nd at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall with Council President Argo presiding. After the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag, Council President Argo gave the invocation. Roll was called and Councilman Macready was recorded as being absent.

AGENDA ITEM

1. RESOLUTION: TO CANVASS ELECTION. (RESOLUTION BOOK 2008-A, PAGE 018).

Council President Argo reported that there were three provisional ballots that could not be counted and read aloud the reasons as stated by the Autauga County Board of Registrars. He further reported that there was one provisional ballot that could be counted.

The provisional ballot box containing the ballot to be counted was then opened and the results were read aloud. One vote was cast for Mayor Byard and one vote was cast for Councilman Fank.

Councilman Wood made a motion to adopt the Resolution and Councilman Renegar seconded the motion. There being no discussion, the Resolution was adopted with the following results:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Renegar made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 9:08 a.m.
