PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
WORK SESSION MINUTES
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2008

The Prattville City Council held a work session on Tuesday, December 8^th at 5:30 p.m. at Doster Community Center, 424 South Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067.

The meeting was called to order by Council President Dean Argo. Councilman Fank was recorded as being absent. Mayor Byard and City Attorney David McDowell were in attendance at the evening’s meeting, as well as Sanitation Director Edward Clinton, Planning Director Joel Duke, Finance Director Rod Morgan, City Clerk Gina P. Smith, and Police Chief Alfred Wadsworth. The media was represented by Don Fletcher of the Prattville Progress and Marty Roney of the Montgomery Advertiser.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed household garbage/recycling contract.

This item was introduced in the form of an Ordinance at the December 2^nd council meeting. It was held over by point of order until the council meeting on Tuesday, December 16^th at 6:00 p.m. and was also scheduled for a public hearing on Monday, December 15^th at 6:00 p.m.

Councilman Boles left the meeting at 6:50 p.m.

ADJOURN:

Councilman Renegar made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 7:15 p.m.
