PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2009

CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, May 5^th at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Argo called the meeting to order. Roll was called and all councilmembers were recorded as being present.

AGENDA

1. APPEAL BY PROPERTY OWNERS OF 434 WATER STREET, DILAPIDATED STRUCTURE.

Edwina Brown, 1202 County Road 85, Prattville, AL 36067, appeared before the Council to state that the dilapidated structure has been torn down and she needs additional time to complete the necessary clean up of the property.

2. RESOLUTION: TO DECLARE VARIOUS WEEDED LOTS TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ODERING THEIR ABATEMENT PER TITLE 11, CHAPTER 67 OF THE CODE OF ALABAMA, 1975, AS AMENDED.

Don Drashef, 136 Quail Run, Prattville, AL 36067, appeared before the Council in favor of the Resolution. He further urged the Council to expand the current code to include cars parked on front lawns.

No one appeared in opposition to the Resolution.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Renegar made the motion to adjourn and Councilman Boles seconded the motion. The meeting closed at 6:05 p.m.
