PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
WORK SESSION MINUTES
MONDAY, AUGUST 10, 2009

The Prattville City Council held a work session on Monday, August 10^th at 5:30 p.m. at Doster Community Center, 424 South Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067.

The meeting was called to order by Council President Argo. Councilmen Gillespie, Wood, Miller, and Fank were also recorded as present. Councilmen Renegar and Boles were recorded as being absent. Mayor Byard and City Attorney David McDowell were recorded as being present. Police Chief Alfred Wadsworth, City Clerk Gina P. Smith, and Assistant City Clerk Stephanie Southerland were also in attendance. The media was represented by Don Fletcher with the Prattville Progress and by Marty Roney with the Montgomery Advertiser..

The purpose of the meeting was to allow Agent Wayne Mackey and Attorney Bob Martin with the Alabama Beverage Control Board, an opportunity to provide the Council with additional information regarding alcohol licenses, particularly the Lounge Retail Liquor, Class I License.

ADJOURN:

Councilman Fank made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:40 p.m.
