The Prattville City Council held a work session on Monday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m.in the council chambers at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067.

The meeting was called to order by Council President Dean Argo. Councilman Miller was recorded as being absent. Mayor Byard, City Attorney David McDowell and Webmaster Teresa Lee were recorded as being present as well as the following department heads, Planning Director Joel Duke, Finance Director Rod Morgan, Mayor’s Assistant Sheila Morrissette, City Clerk Gina P. Smith, Police Chief Alfred Wadsworth. Council President Argo reported that Councilman Miller was out of the City on business and could not attend the work session.

The media was represented by Don Fletcher with the Prattville Progress and Marty Roney with the Montgomery Advertiser.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a substitute Resolution to be introduced for the $3.1 million loan agreement at a special session of the Council on Tuesday, October 26th.

Councilman Gillespie read a letter from Bobby Carter, a resident of District 1. The letter will be made a part of the official record.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Fank made a motion to adjourn and the motion was seconded. The meeting closed at 6:27 p.m.
