PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, MAY 3, 2011
6:00 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Pro Tempore Mike Renegar called the meeting to order. Roll was called and Council President Miller was recorded as being absent.

AGENDA

1. RESOLUTION: TO GRANT A RESTAURANT RETAIL LIQUOR LICENSE FOR OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE OF FLORIDA, LLC, D/B/A OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE #1271.

No one appeared in favor or in opposition to this Resolution. Mayor Gillespie announced that a representative from Outback was present prior to the Public Hearing but they were called in to work.

2. ORDINANCE: REQUEST TO ZONE PROPERTY LOCATED OFF OF COUNTY ROAD 4 AND CORLEY ROAD.

Mr. Mullins, 534 Old Mill Way, Prattville, Alabama expressed his concern that there was no notice or signage on the property regarding this Public Hearing. He stated that he and his neighbors would like more information on what is being planned for this property.

Mr. Greg Gillian, Larry Speaks & Associates, spoke on behalf of the property owner, explaining the various zoning on the different parcels of the property.

Lisa Miller, 1909 Tara Drive, Prattville, Alabama addressed the council as Secretary of the Industrial Development Board and requested that the council table this item until further information could be gained by the Board. She stated that it is of great concern to the Board how this development may impact industrial recruitment at the Industrial Park.

Councilman Argo arrived at 6:07 p.m.

ADJOURN:

There being no further business to come before the council, the public hearing was adjourned at 6:08 p.m.
