Public Hearing Held to Discuss Honoring Wilson Pickett 6/9/2009

Some wonderful ideas were presented in the Public Hearing held on Monday, June 8 by the Prattville City Council. A tremendous amount of thought and discussion has gone into the prospect of honoring one of Prattville's own, Wilson Pickett. A committee, headed by City Councilman Willie Wood, has been formed. They have met several times. During this public hearing, the council took ideas and comments from persons present in an effort to capture new thoughts as well as promote community involvement.
