As the only ambulance service in Autauga County, the City of Prattville Fire Department answers emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls. There are three "first-out" ambulances and a reserve ambulance at each station. Paramedics respond to ambulance calls and fire calls. The City of Prattville contracts with the Autauga County Commission to respond to calls outside the city limits.
