The Prattville Community Chorus was established in 1972 as an organization to provide cultural opportunities for its adult volunteer members and this region by providing choral programs for the enriching benefit of the public. The Chorus sings a variety of music from jazz to classical and from sacred to contemporary. It is a non-denominational organization and auditions are not required. In addition to its Annual Spring Dinner Concert and Christmas Concert, the Chorus performs at the Fountain City Arts Festival, the Prattville Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade, the 4th of July events, and other civic organization functions. They offer Singing Valentines as well as other special event greetings.
The Prattville Community Chorus is sponsored by the City of Prattville and the Special Events Office located in the Prattville Cultural Arts Center at 203 West 4th Street in Prattville. The Chorus is a member of the Prattville Creative and Performing Arts Council.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 at First United Methodist Church at 4th and Chestnut Streets in Prattville.

The Prattville Community Chorus and Prattville Pops are proud to present their Annual Christmas Concert on Friday, December 9, 2016. This FREE holiday concert will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Hunter Hills Church in Prattville.
The theme for this year’s concert is Look-A That Star and will feature a variety of wonderful Christmas music, along with dancers and special solos. This concert is a great opportunity for families to spend time together enjoying this very special time of year.
The concert is free, but guests are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Autauga Interfaith Care Center food bank. These donations will help to fill the shelves of the food bank during the busy holiday season to help to make the holidays better for those in need.
