Elmore County Deputy Assaulted PDF Print E-mail

An off-duty Elmore County Deputy was assaulted outside the Blue Iguana at 1714 E. Main Street around 1 A.M. Sunday morning. Deputy Christopher Kearley was struck in the back of the head with a wood board when he went to the aid of security personnel at the lounge. Michael Wade Uding, 27, of Deatsville and Lance Christopher Knighton, 26, of Ramer were arrested for assault in the First Degree around 3 P.M. Sunday in Deatsville. Both men are in the Autauga Metro Jail under a $30,000.00 bond. A warrant has also been issued for Derek Wayne Holley, 27, of Montgomery. He has not been arrested at the time of this release. If anyone has any information on the location of Holley, please call the Prattville Police Department at 361-3671 or your local law enforcement.
