Prattville Police Department News Release The Prattville Police Department responded Tuesday night at 9:55 p.m. to 1110 Highway 14 West, Lot 11 (Carter’s Trailer Park) to a reported stabbing. A neighbor heard an argument at the trailer and the police were called. A Hispanic female, with multiple stab wounds to her body, was located on the couch in the trailer. The female, 29-year-old Angelica Margarita Gonzales-Perez, was unresponsive, and later pronounced dead. She lived at the trailer with Romer Gonzales Jimenez and five children ranging in 2 to 9 years of age. None of the children were injured. He was not at the residence when police arrived. The Alabama State Troopers and Department of Corrections assisted in trying to locate him by helicopter and tracking dogs, respectively. A warrant for Murder has been signed against Romer Gonzales Jimenez for the death of Angelica Margarita Gonzales-Perez. Romer Gonzales Jimenez, alias Jose Luiz Jimenez, is a 32-year-old Hispanic male, 5’ 6” tall, weighing 170 pounds. Anyone with any information concerning the whereabouts of Romer Gonzales Jimenez is asked to call the Prattville Police Department at 334-361-3671 or the secret witness line at 334-365-2220. This is the City of Prattville’s first homicide for 2011. Carter’s Trailer Park is outside the city limits of Prattville but inside the police jurisdiction. ###
