Runner Assaulted on Earlier Morning Run PDF Print E-mail
News Release - June 9, 2011



A runner on an early morning run was assaulted. Around 4:15 AM Wednesday a 35 year female runner running on Fairview Avenue near Jasmine Trail was approached by from behind by a Black male running. The Black male grabbed her around the neck and threw her to the ground. The female runner started scratching and trying to get away from the Black male suspect. The suspect got up and fled. The Black male was described as around 6’ tall wearing a white tank top and baggy dark colored shorts.

This is the only incident of this nature reported to the Prattville Police Department. Anyone having any information is asked to call Prattville Police Department at 334-361-3671 or the secret witness line, which is anonymous, at 334-365-2220.
