Prattville Fire Department Training Center - Regional Training Center for the Alabama Fire College

	290 Echlin Blvd.

	The mission of the Training Division is to provide the City of Prattville with highly trained and effective Fire Fighters. The Training Division is responsible for training required for new Firefighter Recruits as well as continuing education for existing Fire and Rescue personnel. Academic courses taught by the Training Division include: Officer training, Emergency Medical Services training, various Alabama Fire College certification courses, and monthly company drills. In addition to the academic training conducted through the division, Public Education and the Recruitment of new personnel is also a function of the division. Our goal is to furnish a disciplined environment conducive to learning and to provide professional instruction to prepare Fire Fighters to meet the public service and public safety needs of the citizens of the City of Prattville.
