Update on Elmore County Deputy Assault Case

Derek Wayne Holley, 26, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force just before 10 pm last night at a motel in Montgomery. Holley is charged with Assault in the First Degree involving the assault on the off-duty Elmore County Deputy on June 27th. He is being held in the Autauga Metro Jail under a $30,000 bond.
