The City of Prattville's 9th annual Mardi Gras Parade, sponsored by the Krewe of Athena, is scheduled for Saturday, January 26th. The parade themed "Splashing into 2013 - Mardi Gras Style" will roll out from the Autauga County Courthouse at 1:00 p.m. and wind its way through the streets of downtown, with plenty of beads, candy and moonpies for everyone.

This year the 2nd annual Prattville Service League Chili Cook-off will be held in conjunction with the annual Mardi Gras festivities. Set up/check in for the downtown cook-off will begin at 7 a.m., and will officially open to the public at 11:30 a.m. For more information and complete rules, please contact the Prattville Service League at rachell419@yahoo.com.
