Saturation patrols will be conducted by the Prattville Police Department that will place extra officers on the street on August 9th and 10th. Officers will target seat belt offenses and other high-risk infractions. This will be part of the Click It or Ticket Campaign for the "Back to School Week" funded by the Central Alabama Highway Safety Office from a grant program of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (Law Enforcement and Traffic Safety Division) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Traffic will be heavy and motorists are requested to drive safely and cautiously.
