The City of Prattville, along with the Prattville Downtown Unlimited will hold the official “green” Ribbon Cutting of Prattville's “Creekwalk Park” this afternoon at 3:30pm. This is in conjunction with the 24th annual Prattville Cityfest celebration.

The city's horticulture department transformed the vacant spot where the old Cobb Building once stood. There is now land scaped planting beds, a fountain, benches and tall columns topped with plants. This will offer another place downtown for people to sit, eat lunch, and relax for a while.

The “Creekwalk Park” is located downtown on Main Street, between McDowell, Faulk, and McDowell Law Offices and Fountain City Grill. Everyone is invited to attend.
