Prattville Mayor Jim Byard, Jr. will join other officials and community leaders to unveil a historic marker commemorating Prattville’s Happy Hollow neighborhood. The marker details the history of this historic and traditional African American neighborhood that was home to many of Prattville’s domestic workers, farm laborers, landowners and sharecroppers during the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s.

“I am proud to dedicate this historic marker in a neighborhood that is an integral part of the history and development of our city,” said Mayor Byard.
