City of Prattville to Observe Memorial Day PDFPrintE-mail

In observance of Memorial Day, the City of Prattville will join the American Legion Post 122 in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Autauga County Court House at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 31, 2010.

“I urge our citizens to join me at this important event to remember all of our service men and women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day,” said Mayor Jim Byard, Jr.

City offices will be closed Monday, May 31, 2010, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. No garbage or trash will be collected. Monday and Tuesday’s garbage will be collected on Tuesday, June 1. Normal schedules will resume on Wednesday.
