The City of Prattville and various local public safety organizations invite you to participate in the CHIPS event, scheduled for Thursday, November 15th, from 5:30-7:30pm in downtown Prattville. The CHIPS (Community Holiday Intervention with Public Safety) event is designed to heighten safety awareness, especially during the holiday season.

This event will include various demonstrations and displays from the City of Prattville's Police and Fire Departments, Autauga County Sheriff's Office, PASS (Peers Are Staying Straight), Alabama National Guard, Autauga County Emergency Management Agency, Autauga County E911, Autauga County Rescue Squad, Domestic Violence Task Force, Air Evac and Alabama Cooperative Extension System.

Parents will be able to learn valuable holiday shopping and safety tips, while kids get finger print kits and have a firsthand look at fire trucks, police cars and a helicopter. Hotdogs will be provided by the Alabama Cooperative Extension office at no charge.
