The City of Prattville Department of Leisure Services will host its 11th Annual Black History Program this Friday night, February 19, 2010. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. at Doster Memorial Community Center and is free and open to the public.

“This year’s celebration will feature African American history and entertainment,” said Prattville Mayor Jim Byard, Jr. WSFA TV 12 Anchor Valerie Lawson is the guest speaker and Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col Ernest Craigwell, will also be honored. “I encourage our citizens to join me at this annual event,” continued the Mayor.
