Art will spring to life at the Wilson Pickett Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 6, at Pratt Park in Prattville! Enjoy artist booths, children and teen interactive activities, local and regional entertainment and great festival food from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Then get ready to groove with the Ray Howard Band as they entertain you with their fine rhythm and blues and soul at a concert at 6:00 p.m. at Stanley Jensen Stadium

Throughout the day local talent, including Madeline Mae, Prattville Christian Academy Choir and Band, Miranda’s Majorettes, the Prattville Pops, Kasey and Allan, Community Chorus and the Alabama State University Jazz Ensemble, will perform on the Amphitheater Stage. Come out and try your luck at the Wilson Pickett Sing-Off at 2:30 p.m. and maybe win an award and the chance to sing at another Prattville concert event.

Come early for a special giveaway! Children will be able to work on a variety of free art projects that they can take home and the first 250 children will receive a free bag of art goodies! In addition, there will be an interactive music wall and chalk wall for children of all ages.

At 11:30 a.m., the Autauga-Prattville Library will host a Book Talk and reception for Glenn Wills, who will speak about his book “200 Years of Forgotten Alabama.”

Compete in our “April Madness” with Basketball tournaments at the Prattville Kindergarten auditorium from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. and enjoy a fun jump rope exhibition on stage at Pratt Park.

Local art will be available for purchase and food vendors and inflatables will be on site. With plenty of free children’s activities and a park nearby, the whole family can enjoy a full day of art, music, and fun.

Free concert at 6:00 p.m.! After the festival get ready for a high energy concert with the Ray Howard Band at Stanley Jensen Stadium featuring all your favorite R&B and soul tunes.

These family-friendly events are FREE and open to the public, so bring your family and friends and enjoy a day of arts and entertainment!
