Mayor Gillespie Appoints New Executive Assistant

The City of Prattville Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr. appoints Lisa Byrd as new Executive Assistant.

Lisa’s many years of experience will serve her well in her new position. She joined the Mayor's Office as his Administrative Assistant approximately two years ago after having already acquired over a decade of experience in business and financial management. In addition to her management experience, she brings extensive knowledge in marketing and public relations to the position.

“I am extremely excited to announce that I have appointed Lisa as my Executive Assistant. During her time with the City, she has done an outstanding job leading various projects and special assignments, and I am very confident in her ability to continue moving our City forward. She is a tremendous asset to the City of Prattville, and we are very fortunate to have her,” said Mayor Gillespie.

Lisa is a long standing resident of the City of Prattville and has a vested interest in our community and its citizens. She has been married to her husband, Carl, for 10 years and they have one daughter, Analeigh. Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Amridge University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery. She is also a recent graduate of Leadership Autauga County.
