Mulligan is Honored with CrimeStoppers Award PDF Print E-mail

On Wednesday, January 25, 2012, Officer Jeff Mulligan was honored by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers for his work in the Traffic Division of Prattville Police Department with an Officer of the Year Award.

Jeff recognized a vehicle that a BOLO (be on the lookout) had been issued on earlier that day. He stopped the vehicle and radioed Patrol Officer Greg Varner for backup. Mulligan and Varner put the suspects in cuffs and called in PPD Investigations.

"These two suspects were wanted for burglary," stated Officer Mulligan. "Items from the previous day's burglary were in the vehicle along with drugs. These suspects were booked on 22 felony charges. It was the work of our entire team that put these individuals in jail."

The City of Prattville congratulates Officer Jeff Mulligan and is proud to call him one of our own!
