New Officers Graduate Police Academy

On February 13, 2013, Class 2012-3 graduated from the Montgomery Police Academy. It is extraordinary that the class began with 13 cadets and all 13 graduated. That does not often happen as the course is stringent and requires much from these officer candidates. The next point of significance is that Prattville Police Department had two cadets in this graduating class: A.J. Joyce and Jon Snyder. Officer Jon Snyder was a class officer, serving as the Class Chaplain. Officer A.J. Joyce received top honors earning the Academic Graduate Award. The item of note is that our new Police Chief Mark Thompson was the guest speaker for the event.

The City of Prattville is extremely proud of these new graduates, our Police Chief and all those PPD team members who attended in support of all three. Jon and A.J., job well done and welcome as new members of Prattville's Finest!
