As a mark of respect to honor the life and service of those who lost their lives at Fort Hood, Texas, and at the direction of Governor Bob Riley, flags at all City facilities will be flown at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, November 10, 2009.

“The citizens of Prattville join me as we grieve and pray for the victims and families of this tragedy,” said Mayor Jim Byard, Jr. “As we begin Military Appreciation Week, this incident once again reminds us that Freedom is not free,” he continued.
