Prattville to Welcome Medline Distribution Center

Prattville Mayor Jim Byard, Jr., and Baptist Health President and CEO, Russell Tyner, announces that Prattville will become home of Medline Industries, Inc.’s first Alabama distribution center. Phase one consists of the construction of a 350,000 square-foot distribution center at Prattville South Industrial Park, located along Autauga County Road 4. Construction is set to begin soon and should be completed within a year of groundbreaking. Once open, Medline is expected to employ 35 to 40 people.
“I am pleased that this nationally recognized medical supply provider has chosen Prattville,” said Mayor Byard. “Medline will not only employ our citizens, but also become an integral partner to local healthcare providers. The Medline family will be a great addition to our business community,” he continued.

The new facility will allow us to provide outstanding customer service to Baptist Health and other healthcare facilities within Alabama, eastern Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle,” said Sidney Hobbs, Medline Vice President of National Accounts.
