The City of Prattville is excited to announce the new Military Recognition Banner Program that honors hometown heroes who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Prattville residents may participate by nominating a Veteran for the banner program. The honoree must be a Prattville resident or the immediate family member of a Prattville resident.

In celebration of Veterans Day, the banners will be displayed throughout Historic Downtown, along East Main Street and Memorial Drive. There is a limit of one banner per serviceperson.

Banner submission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, due to the limit of banner poles. Location placement and scheduling of install/removal of military banners are at the City's discretion.

Nomination deadline: October 11, 2020
