District 6 - Robert Strichik
Robert Strichik serves on the Prattville City Council, having first been elected in August 2016. He currently serves as Chair of the Fire and Information Technology Committee and is a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee, the Police and Judicial Committee, and the Street, Drainage and Lights Committee. In addition to his city duties, he is a Senior Sales and Account Manager with Ambassador Personnel, where he manages and markets business strategies for government and corporate organizations. Through his lifelong career in Sales, Robert continuously achieved record-breaking profitability through innovating marketing strategies, effective presentations, and superior product knowledge.
Strichik is a native of Prattville and a graduate of Prattville High School. He also attended Faulkner University where he majored in Communications and also played baseball for the Faulkner Eagles. He volunteers his time as the voice of the Prattville Lions Football Team, Basketball Team, and Baseball Team and has been doing so for the past 30 years.
Prior to his time on the City Council, Robert volunteered as a Little League and Travel Ball Coach, served on the Board for the Autauga County Family Guidance Center, volunteered for the Autauga County Junior Miss Program, and is part of the Prattville High School Booster Club.
Councilor Strichik has been married since 1995 to Dr. Tracye Cutts Strichik. Dr. Strichik is the Director of Early Learning and Family Support for the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education. They have three children together: Katye, Madison and Will. The Strichiks are members of First United Methodist Church in Prattville.
