Sponsorship: 

The City of Prattville Parks and Recreation youth sports programs provide recreational youth baseball, softball and soccer to the children of Prattville. Our goal is to provide the best recreational  programs at the lowest possible cost. Please consider supporting our leagues by being a sponsor. The sponsorship fee is $300.00 per sport.

Softball Registration Spring 2022

All softball games will be played at the New Mac Gray 2 Complex!

Registration Fee: $100 per player 

Registration: Jan. 9th – 27th

Opening Day: March 4th

Game schedules/All-star info: TBD

Ages Divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 16U

  • Age cut off date December 31st
    • Whatever age your child was on December 31stof the previous year is the age group they will be in

 

Softball FAQs

All Stars: 

  • No All-Stars during Fall Season
  • Equipment
    • Bats must have the USA or ASA 2000/2004 stamp
      • No TBall bats
      • Weight and length should be what the child is comfortable swinging
    • Helmets, glove, bat, cleats required
    • Face mask suggested, but not required
  • Ball sizes
    • 6U: 10in
    • 8U – 10U: 11in
    • 12U and Up: 12in

 

 

 

MAC GRAY PARK RENTAL INFORMATION

If you are an outside organization and are interested in hosting a tournament at Mac Gray Park please contact Parks and Recreation Athletics Coordinator for available dates.

Our Policy:

1. The fee is $600.00 per event (or $150 per field) to rent Mac Gray Complex and must be paid prior to the event.  A $200.00 deposit is required in order to put your name in the reservation book.  If there is a cancellation or change of the date, the fee is not refundable or transferable unless a five (5) day notice is provided.

 

2. Organization must have proof of insurance that includes an umbrella for the City of Prattville up to $1 million dollars of coverage before the tournament can begin. 

 

3. You must by 21 years old with valid I.D. to rent any city facility. 

 

4. The Parks and Recreation Department will run concessions, but the organization may charge a gate fee.
