How much is a Business License?

Depends on what type of work you are going to be doing. Generally, an initial business license is $75.00 + $12.00 Issuance fee, for a total of $87.00. However, if you are performing a one time job and not pulling a permit, your license will be based on the amount of that job. The City of Prattville operates in arrears upon renewals. When renewing, the license amount is based on the gross receipts of the previous year.
