The City of Prattville is letting its residents decide who will be this year's Christmas Parade Grand Marshal for the 3rd year in a row. A contest has been started on the City of Prattville's Facebook page encouraging residents to submit nominations for someone who goes above and beyond and deserves special recognition for all they do in Prattville. The public has until Friday, November 22nd to submit their nominations. After that, the person with the most nominations will be contacted to serve as the Grand Marshal.
The annual Christmas Parade is scheduled for Friday, December 6th at 7 p.m. This year's theme is "Hometown Christmas." The parade route will begin and end at the Autauga County Courthouse.
Applications for this year's parade are available on the event page on this website. For more information, call the Special Events Office at 595-0854.
