The City of Prattville has announced that due to the chance of severe weather on Saturday, March 23, we have rescheduled the Fountain City Arts Festival to Sunday, March 24 from 9am-5pm at Pratt Park in historic downtown Prattville.
"After an update on the weather, we have made the decision to change the event to Sunday" said Kellie Cook, Parks and Recreation Director. "We are hopeful we will still have great participation in this 8th annual festival."
The festival will still feature renowned artists, Charlie "Tin Man" Lucas, She-She, Barbara Simpson, Russell Everett, and Kellie Newsome, as well as over 40 more local and regional artists. There will be live entertainment and great food from a variety of vendors for families to enjoy.
Live demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day, including pottery, Folk Art, Jewelry making and stained glass making. Children will once again be able to create free "make and take" art projects at the "Kids Creative Canopy."
The Fountain City Arts Festival is sponsored by The City of Prattville, Target Corporation, the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the Prattville Service League. For more information about the festival, visit our event page or call (334) 358-0297.
