Prattville, Ala. – The Prattauga Art Guild presents the “People of Prattville” exhibit, February 24 through April 2 at the Creative Arts Center, 342 South Chestnut Street. The “People of Prattville” exhibit features photographs representing the people of Prattville alongside their stories by local photographers. The goal of the exhibit is to highlight local photographers and the stories of the people in our community. 

Ten different artists are featured in the show, sharing touching stories about friends, neighbors, and other people they have encountered in Prattville. Some photos share personal battles, some share personal victories, some bring a smile to your face, and some bring tears to your eyes. Make time to visit the exhibit and be reminded that the people all around us each have a story and are all at different chapters of life, some on mountain tops, some in deep valleys. 

A reception featuring light refreshments will be held on March 17 at the Creative Arts Center at 5:00 p.m. Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. For more information, call the Cultural Arts Office at (334) 595-0850.
