Prattville’s Way Off Broadway Theatre is excited to announce the cast for its summer production of 9 to 5 The Musical, which will be directed by Brady Walker.  The play will open on June 1 and run weekends through June 17.  

 

There were many very talented actors who auditioned for the show and Director Walker is pleased to announce the following cast:

Violet Newstead will be played by Melissa Strickland

Judy Bernly will be played by Ashley Portis

Doralee Rhodes will be played by Leanna Wallace

Roz Keith will be played by Billie Simonson

Franklin Hart will be played by Seth Maggard

Joe will be played by Tanner Parrish, also ensemble member

Dwayne Rhodes played by Dean Miller, also ensemble member

Josh Newstead/Bob Enright will be played by Kaden Blackburn, also ensemble member 

Kathy will be played by Beth Bozeman, also ensemble member

Margaret will be played by Toshia Martin, also ensemble member

Missy Hart will be played by Tonya Willoughby, also ensemble member

Maria will be played by Maggie Kervin, also ensemble member

Tinsworthy/Doctor will be played by Rodney Winter, also ensemble member

Detective will be played by Tye Devore, also ensemble member

Candy Striper will be played by Katelynn Lamar

New Employee will be played by Abigail Bonebreak

Ensemble members Lexi Parker, Elaine Cash, and Amy Lynn Miller

Dick Bernley character is to be determined

Dance/Music Captain is Beth Bozeman

9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the 1980 hit movie and is a funny and thought-provoking story of friendship and revenge.  This play is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI) www.mtishows.com.
