13th Annual Youth Art Show in Prattville
The City of Prattville and the Prattauga Art Guild are pleased to host the 13th Annual Youth Art Show in May at the Prattville Creative Arts Center and Gallery. This art show is for students in grades K-12 in Autauga County in public, private or home school. It is also open to youth who live in Autauga County, take art classes in Autauga County or have created work in Prattville’s children’s workshops.
Artwork is to be submitted on Friday, April 27, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Prattville Creative Arts Center at 342 South Chestnut Street in downtown Prattville. There are several different categories for artwork, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and more, as well as four different age categories.
There will be an awards ceremony on Saturday, May 12, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and the work will remain on exhibit through May 27. Student artwork will cover the walls throughout the gallery during May for young artists and their family and friends to enjoy.
